Because preparation is key to a lasting paint job, we always complete the following steps before painting. 

• Power Washing - Removes dirt, mildew, etc., that can prevent paint from bonding.
• Scraping – Using a scraping knives and brushes to remove loose paint and provide a tight, primeable surface. 
• Repairs - If your property needs minor repairs prior to painting, we have skilled employees who can handle most tasks.
• Priming – All exposed wood must be primed in order to accept the new paint. We use premium exterior primers to prepare the surface and ensure a sound foundation for the new finish coat. We also use primer to seal any stains.
• Caulking and Glazing – Caulking and glazing windows with a premium caulk reduces the airflow in these areas. We also caulk all major wood joints, and remove and replace loose glazing around wooden windows.
• Painting - We use only premium paints from Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore and a few other carefully selected coatings. Because some customers may prefer a less expensive grade of paint, we carefully discuss these options with our customers so they understand each product’s strengths and limitations.
